Requirement Gathering Stage
Please carefully specify your website. Be sure to know what you want. It starts with extracting all the details related to the design, your website target audience, your company or products. Who your audience is will not only influence the general aesthetic of the website but will also determine a lot of smaller details. This is the first thing you want to define clearly before any other step is taken. You need to decide what the main purpose of the website is - what you want to focus on and what specific features you want. It is important that the project is initiated with a mutual understanding of the objectives, because a website’s focus has a major impact on the whole project's design.
Please be as specific as possible. Quotes depend on your requirements and needs.
First Design Draft
Work on the web site is scheduled upon receipt of the signed proposal and a 50% deposit.
You submit to me all text, graphics, links and other content that you wish to include. I begin designing the basic layout, the visual aspects and navigation. It is still just a prototype, just good enough to give everyone a common understanding, not the actual solution.
The actual iterative improvements start after your review and feedback.
Revisions
I don't want to limit either your options or your opportunities to change your mind. I offer you to make up to two rounds of revisions.
Please note that if I develop your website as agreed with you and you subsequently change your mind about what you need, add extra pages or even add new functionality, that won't be a problem. Expect to have to pay extra for this.
Development
The final website looks set to be published Developing of your website with all contents you provided earlier and all features that needs to be implemented.
You will be happy to learn that I add basic Search Engine Optimization as part of my service - no additional costs.
While I'm working on your site it's a good idea to care about hosting. If you need hosting, I can suggest you one of my preferred, third-party hosting providers (I'm not affiliated with any of them).
Testing
Evaluation Web based applications need intensive testing. Some of the testing which will be done are load testing, link checking and cross-browser compatibility testing. Your web site will display equally in Chrome, Opera, Safari and to some extend Internet Explorer 7 and 8. (If happens you visit my site with IE, please switch browser to experience the difference)
Once the final version has been approved, the final payment has been made then the site is ready for upload to your hosting server.
